Training workshop on modern agricultural machinery manufacturing begins in Chattogram.
A three-day training workshop on agricultural machinery production, safety measures, and creation of a proper working environment has commenced in Sultanpalli 1, West Elahabad, Chandanaish, Chattogram, under the project "Enhancement of Farm Machinery Research Activities." The workshop, which started on Friday, November 8, was inaugurated by Dr. A.K.M. Saiful Islam, Chief Scientific Officer and Project Director of the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute (BRRI).
The workshop is organized by BRRI under the Ministry of Agriculture, with full support from Bangla Mark Ltd.
Present at the opening ceremony as guests were Md. Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of Bangla Mark Group, Md. Sirajul Islam, Deputy Managing Director, and Shahedur Rahman, Assistant General Manager (Business Development).
The training focuses on modern methods of agricultural machinery production, quality control, safety, and working conditions for farmers. Participants receive specialized training in the use of hand tools, welding, piling, power transmission, drilling, and grounding.
Advanced training is also provided in agro services, spare parts management, supervision, mechanical, and technical skills.
At the event, the guests emphasized that advancing agriculture through modern, technology-based methods can bring about a new agricultural revolution in Bangladesh. Utilizing technology can help rural farmers become more self-sufficient and prosperous, contributing to the country's food security.
